I can’t write about adversity.

Because adversity means misfortune that lingers, and follows. It’s a state of continual mishaps. Consistent difficulty. Constant tragedy.

Adversity is not something I can say I experience now, or truly ever have.

I can. not. belittle the adversity that folks face every day around this world by pretending that having a bad audition, or a crappy voice lesson, or 25 agents tell you that you need to lose 10 pounds amounts to adversity.

And please don’t say it’s a matter of perspective, like failure or courage, because I don’t buy it.

If you HAVE been one of the BEAST MODE performers, who have experienced adversity, I want to hear from you, because it’s YOUR story that is needed … not mine.

Please, write me. Let your journey teach us about how adversity has made you the performer you are today.
