The Art of the Inquiry:

The Secret to Revenue, Relationships, and Retention

Discover each step of the inquiry process and get tangible actions items to implement in your own business right away.

“Hey Michelle, why are there three purchase price options for the same book?”

I am so glad you asked!

The team and I have been thinking a lot about equitable pricing. We feel that different folks will find different value in things, based on their own cash flow and relationship with the moolas!

Instead of asking for a flat rate for this book, we want to give folx more opportunity for their investment to be in line with their current cash flow.

Therefore, we’ve given you some suggested price points based on what it “gives back” to the team – you can choose one of those, or pick your own.

We love experimenting with bold new ways to bring pricing justice to the online space! Thank you for your thoughtful purchase!

What this Ebook is About

It begins with a humble email. Or maybe a phone call. Or a text message. A submission through your contact form or a message in your DMs.

“Hi, I’m looking for a voice teacher for myself…I’m interested in singing lessons for my child…I saw your IG Reel…My friend gave me your number…”

Whatever the wording may be, what you have on your hands is a client inquiry: a request to hire you.

What happens next—how you respond—will dictate the terms of that relationship forever.

You’d be surprised how many businesses scream “GO AWAY!” in response to an inquiry. Stranger still, most businesses have no idea they’re pushing away the very same clients they say they’re desperate for. Especially if the current process works most of the time – there is little data around how often the business is losing a new client.

If you don’t have an intentional, thought-through, and/or well-documented inquiry and onboarding process, it’s time to get one.
Because when you do it right, you can provide unparalleled service while reserving your energy for the actual session work. Over time, you’ll start to attract more ideal clients and retain them over the long term.

The Art of the Inquiry: The Secret to Revenue, Relationship, and Retention will guide you through a step-by-step process for creating your own client inquiry and onboarding system so you can manage your time with confidence, increase the number of people who say “Heck yes!” to your offers, and maintain fruitful and impactful relationships for longer seasons of vocal growth.

How to Use this Ebook:

Every business has a process in which they generate inquiries (sometimes called leads), whether that process is intentional or not.

And you already have an inquiry process – whether it’s intentional or not. You already do it ALL THE TIME. Perhaps you don’t use the fancy lingo (yet!), but you’ve been doing it since your very first singer/client.

This ebook is less about the generation of leads and more about what to do once a lead has reached out for more information—and how you can systematize this process so you can offer stellar customer service while saving your energy for the good work in session.

So we are on the same page (ha!) moving forward, here is how I define the client inquiry process in the context of this ebook: the process of informing, selling to, and welcoming potential clients into your studio or business.

It’s addressing their questions and concerns and ensuring they understand the services and/or products available to them. Client inquiry is one of the most important functions for any business because it directly affects the client’s experience with you and/or your company, which will then determine if they stick around or talk about you all nice like to other folks and pay you the monies.
